We should start by clarifying that TREU Partners is not a reseller of any supplier products or services. Our clients contract directly with suppliers and pay suppliers directly for any products or services they choose to purchase.
TREU Partners is part of an Indirect Sales Channel made up of IT Partners. This channel represents thousands of suppliers and thousands of clients. The buying leverage and resource advantage that clients gain by utilizing an IT Partner is unmatched.
Historically, if you wanted to buy a product or service from a supplier, you had to work with that supplier’s direct sales team. While there is nothing wrong with working with a direct sales team for a given supplier, the challenge is really time. How much time do our clients really have to be meeting with salespeople that are constantly trying to sell them things? Some of our clients have hundreds of suppliers in the solution mix. There is a better way to work with direct seller as you will see below.
In other cases, clients may use a Value Added Reseller (VAR) to buy products or services from. VARs are resellers and any product or service that they are selling has hidden margin build in as they are a reseller and that is how resellers make most of their money. The trouble is, is that the client has no way of knowing what that margin is and therefore has no position of leverage when negotiating with a VAR. In some cases, VARs are an important part of the solution, but there is a better way to engage with them and to maintain leverage with them then for the client to try to do it directly.
Now, the best way for a client to engage with the supplier ecosystem is by utilizing an IT Partner. Think of an IT Partner as your concierge service for the VAR/Supplier ecosystem. There are many reasons for this, and the biggest, is that you are already paying for an IT Partner to be involved, it’s just that in most cases, you didn’t even know what an IT Partner was.
With an IT Partner on your team working for you, the client, you get the best of both worlds. Key advantages:
- You get a resource that gives the client incredible leverage and access to significantly more resources when buying from the supplier ecosystem, leverage that they can’t get when buying directly from a supplier.
- The client still gets to work with the direct sales teams from suppliers and VARs in what is called a sell with model. The direct seller teams up with the partner to provide an incredible experience for the client.
- This approach does not cost the client any more to leverage. It always results in a better value for the client, always!
At this point you may be wondering… who pays for the IT Partner?
Great question! The short answer is that the client does… indirectly. Let us explain…
Just like the products and services our clients sell; all suppliers have the costs to pay salespeople and support resources built into their price. When their clients pay their bill, they are paying for those resources. Part of the resources component that is included in price is IT Partner. So, the client pays the supplier, and the supplier pays the IT partner.
The next question you might ask is… sounds good, but how much more do I have to pay for the IT Partner compared to just buying from a supplier’s direct sales team? The answer $0.00. The pricing is always in parity because the margin is already built in by the supplier. You will never pay more to utilize an IT Partner! What is not in parity is that you get access to significantly more engineering, project management, and support resources by working in collaboration with an IT Partner, ALWAYS!

No Cost Guarantee
TREU Partners guarantees it will not charge a fee for its Services based on the following:
- TREU Partners is engaged by the Client and Client agrees to make TREU Partners the agent of record for Supplier Services and Solutions sourced by the client.
- Client understands and acknowledges that TREU Partners is ultimately compensated by Suppliers.
- TREU Partners is Supplier agnostic and will not steer a client towards any specific Supplier(s).
*In the event the client is not fully engaged with the TREU Partners and does not comply with items 1 – 3 above, the TREU Partners reserves the right to charge a fee for Services rendered.
Refunds & Opt-Outs
There is no money back guarantee, refunds, or opt-out clauses as TREU Partners is not selling the client any products or services. All of this would be addressed in a given supplier agreement.
Suppliers
TREU Partners operates completely independent of any supplier that may be recommended. TREU Partners does not resell or white label any supplier services. Client will always contract directly with a supplier providing the service and will be responsible for fulling any contractual obligation they have with a supplier. Client acknowledges and agrees that TREU Partners assumes no responsibility, obligation, or hardship as a result of any Client – Supplier agreement.
